Collage and Master Study
Project Brief: PART A - Create one digital collage using all appropriated imagery. There will be no original photographs shot and included in the piece. Before choosing and collecting source material, think about the concept you want to visually explore. For instance, it can be a response to current social or political events, family ties, etc. PART B - Do a master study of a painter and specific painting of their choosing, utilizing digital collage practices. No part of the original artwork can be in your final piece. The collage will be made up of both appropriated elements and original photographs. The digital collage should have at least ten appropriated components, three original photographs, two textures with different blending modes, and varying adjustment layers to enhance the overall image.
